IWNJC Now Serving Families!

We are so excited to be serving families! In the last couple of weeks we have:

  • Settled two families in the Welcome House and connected them with resources. One family is from Sudan and the other from Egypt, and both are new to the United States.

  • Helped two more families in their search for housing.

We now have two AmeriCorps workers as well, who are instrumental in helping the families with accessing services and with transportation to appointments as well assistance in getting to know their new home.

All of our work to this point has been laying the foundation for what we can now provide to these families, and it is great to be able to be of service to them!
